A booking event starts the task
After departure, a property needs preparing for the next guest. In Aplus PMS, this work connects to the specific accommodation and calendar. The task shows what needs doing, who is responsible and when the property must be ready.
This removes manual copying of dates into spreadsheets and messages. If departure or the next arrival time changes, managers see the current context in the system and can adjust priorities.
Your team sees the readiness status
Employees open their task list, start cleaning and update the status when finished. Comments communicate important details: prepare extra linens, check appliances or report damage.
Managers handle exceptions instead of calling after every clean. The status shows whether early check-in can be confirmed and whether another inspection is needed before the guest arrives.
What to configure before launch
First, define clear statuses, responsibilities and a short checklist for each property type. Avoid dozens of items nobody checks. Keep the actions that affect cleanliness, supplies and readiness for arrival.
Also agree on which situations require a photo or comment, such as damage, forgotten items or missing supplies. This distinguishes routine guest turnover from tasks that need a manager's decision.
Housekeeping joins one workflow
The module works with the booking calendar, guest profile and Check-in App. Your team sees the steps from departure to a ready property, while managers avoid maintaining a separate plan in a messenger.
The Housekeeping page provides a detailed feature overview. In an Aplus PMS demo, we can review your cleaning schedule, employee roles and readiness checks.
