Payments connect to bookings
Aplus PMS supports online payment connections through LiqPay and mono. Payments work within the booking context, helping your team track the amount, guest and transaction status.
This supports deposits, full payments or other business rules. The exact workflow depends on your payment service agreement, merchant settings and Aplus PMS plan.
Guests get a clear next step
A payment message should state the amount, booking, deadline and next step. Guests should not have to guess whether a payment succeeded. After a successful transaction, they need clear confirmation and your team should see the updated status.
If a payment is incomplete, the message should not imply success. Errors, cancellations and retries need separate statuses and a contact where guests can get help.
Start with a test workflow
Before launch, test a payment, a declined transaction, reopening the link and a refund. Check the amount, currency, payment page wording and information returned to the PMS after the transaction.
Store payment account access and integration keys according to your company's rules. Do not send them through group chats. Employee permissions should match their role in payment handling.
Payment status in the full financial picture
Online payments complement booking, fee and expense data. This helps your team manage one transaction from guest confirmation through financial accounting.
The online payments page provides a feature overview. In a demo, agree on the provider, deposit rules and refund process your business needs.
After launch, use consistent rules to reconcile successful and incomplete transactions. This helps you quickly notice a payment that succeeded with the provider but still needs checking in the booking.
