The terminal becomes part of the booking process
A reception payment often starts with a simple question: which stay does this payment cover? When the amount is entered separately on the terminal, the manager must find the booking, mark it as paid, check the receipt and avoid confusing two guests paying the same amount. During check-in hours, this creates unnecessary pressure.
In Aplus PMS, the employee starts with a specific booking card. They select terminal payment, and the required amount enters the payment flow. The team therefore works with the guest, property, stay dates and balance already in the system, rather than an isolated transaction.
How a card payment works
The manager selects the payment method in Aplus PMS, then the booking amount is sent to the connected POS terminal. The guest taps or inserts their card and confirms the transaction. There is no need to re-enter the amount manually, reducing the risk of a mistyped digit or accepting the wrong amount.
After a successful transaction, Aplus PMS records the payment status in the booking. The team immediately sees that payment was received and can continue check-in without separately reconciling the terminal, spreadsheet and work chat. If payment fails, that is also visible in the workflow instead of appearing later as an unexplained discrepancy.
Payment status, booking and fiscal receipt in one chain
Accepting a payment is only part of the task. A manager must be able to trace the transaction: who paid, for which stay, when the status changed and which receipt the guest received. Linking payment to the booking simplifies oversight for administrators and helps owners see finances by property.
After payment confirmation, the transaction is sent to the software fiscal register (PRRO) to generate a receipt. The guest receives a document, and the team saves time duplicating data. This is especially useful for hotels, apartments and management companies handling many check-ins, refunds and partial payments each day.
Connecting PrivatBank and monobank
Aplus PMS supports payments through PrivatBank and monobank POS terminals. It provides a clear route from a booking in the system to card payment, updated status and receipt. For guests, this means quick payment on site; for the team, fewer manual actions and a clearer payment history.
During a demo, we will show how this flow fits your work: prepayment, payment on arrival, extra service charges or settlement at checkout. We can also discuss staff roles, refunds and payment reconciliation. Learn more about handling payments on the Aplus PMS page, and about fiscalisation in the article on software fiscal registers.
